Smart Film (PDLC Film)
How it Works
PDLC film (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal film) is a type of smart film that can be electronically controlled to switch from opaque to transparent. This film consists of a layer of liquid crystals dispersed within a polymer matrix that can be activated to align the crystals, making the film transparent. When the current is turned off, the liquid crystals become randomly oriented, scattering light and making the film opaque.

Smart PDLC film can block out over 95% of ultra violet light. When in the opaque state, our film can block out up to 80% of the infrared light, and over 15% when in transparent state.
